John is originally from Louisville, KY where he played high school baseball for state powerhouse Pleasure Ridge Park. During his high school career, John played for two state championships. After High School he played at the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, IA from 2000-2003 while serving as the Assistant Coach at Bellevue Community High School in Bellevue, IA. In 2004 he remained with his alma mater as an infield coach, southeast region recruiting coordinator, and fundraising coordinator.
In 2005 Coach Robichaud moved to Houston, TX where he coached at Nimitz High School, Concordia Lutheran High School, and Deer Park High School, before moving to Henderson, TX to coach football and baseball at Henderson High School. In 6 years as a head coach in Texas, Coach Robichaud led his teams to 3 state playoff berths and has seen 5 of his former players go on the play professional baseball. During his time in Houston, Coach Robichaud also served as an assistant coach for the HABCA Junior All-Star Team. This is Coach Robichaud’s 12th year as an assistant at Clarksville High School.
John is married to Jillian Robichaud and has 3 sons, Easton (12), Callen (11), and Beckett (6), and one daughter, Elise (6).
